Magnus Health for new students

Georgia-Cumberland Academy utilizes an online database for our students' health records called Magnus Health SMR (Student Medical Record). With this web-based system, information will transfer from year to year, accurate information will be accessible to the appropriate employees at our school, and you will have continuous access to your child’s health record as well as the ability to make updates when needed. You will also have the option to access the account after your child graduates.

Access to Magnus Health must be made via GCA Connect.

1. Browse to  https://gcasda.myschoolapp.com/app#login 
2. Login to your parent GCA Connect Account.
3. On the top of the menu bar click Resources
   
   

   
   

    
4. Click on “Magnus Health Portal” on your Blackbaud Resource Board.
   
   
   
   
5. A new browse tab will open to the Magnus Health Portal. It will guide you to complete your child's medical history, immunization status, consent to treatment, and insurance information.

Required Documentation for all students includes: 

• An updated yearly physical exam (GCA medical evaluation form, sport physical or physical exam forms from the provider may all be accepted) 
• Immunization records

If boarding and taking prescribed medication: 

• Upload a signed Medication Prescription Form from your medical provider. 

Additional documentation may be needed if your child has: 

• Asthma requiring an inhaler
• Severe life-threatening allergies
• Diabetes 
• History of seizures
